In Japan is very common to hear that complaint about the sex in Murakami's books
that is because people have an obsession with sex. surely you can find sex in his books, but it doesnt mean that this is porn.
you can also find a lot of stuffs about food in his books and i dont believe that people say that he is a chef or the owner of a restaurant.
