prisoner

Foucault affirms that when it passed of the big punishments on the body to a regime of imprisonment in the jail, it meant that the body was something valuable for the State -that now wanted to take advantage of it to the maximum- The passage of the punishment of the body to the soul, is what this philosopher considers to be the creation of the soul as jail of the body.*

*and the poor Plato who thought that the body was the jail of the soul... it was obvious that he didn't know the modern States.
** to punish the soul instead of the body, it must be like being in hell on Earth... (so tragic, so tragic, I know)
