Tuesday

"It seems to me now that the plain state of being human is dramatic enough for anyone; you dont need to be a heroin addict or a performance poet to experience extremity. You just have to love someone"

Agamben's philosophy of language, one of the preeminent and overarching themes of his work throughout the eighties, is informed by very fine readings of Martin Heidegger, Ludwig Wittgenstein, and Walter Benjamin.

money*

we talk with metaphors
in fact we think with metaphors.

the point is that the metaphor that repesents the modern times is: "Time is money"

blindness

borges told that when he was 76 he recovered his vision parcially

Saturday

stairmeup(?)

and there must be a reason why we have built stairs for reaching to the next floor and not another kind of object.
because for me, it would be absolutely perfect getting to the first floor by using a pair of plastic wings or maybe an individual and small aerostatic ballon.
i can even go further and say that we could get the perfection if we would leave the stairs for ever and use a couple of giant birds.
for instance: huge hawks who could take us from our backs, rise us and leave us totally safe in the second or third floor.
of course, i have thought that these big birds would receive a very good salary for their contribution to the human progress (?)*

*i trully believe that in the name of progress (a fake one, of course) we have quit to the poetry... and this is so sad... so tragic and sad (?)

Friday

Thursday

sun

i suspect that there is a relationship between camus and the sun
probably a kind of obsession or something like that
but i dont know
i'm not sure
i'll have to think about it

Wednesday

tech

probably the first mistake is to think that the technology is not good or bad
that everything depends on the use that you give to it.
the technology can be many things, except innocent.
it has never been innocent
and it will never be
